Dr. Gretel Garcia began her journey from an early age. Her grandfather Juan Falcon was a renowned scientist in Cuba who patented natural medicines for the cure of cancer. Since childhood, Dr. Gretel saw in her family a great love for humanity. At the age of 21 she went to study in Germany, and later moved to Spain where she lived and worked for 6 years. During her time in Spain, she gave birth to her greatest accomplishment, her son Alejandro. With Alejandro, barely 4 months old, they emigrated to the United States with the help of his grandparents, they were able to stay with and make a new life. As soon as she moved to the United States, she began her growth as a professional in the field of holistic medicine. She specialized in therapeutic, neuromuscular and sports massage. Her true passion though was for natural medicine, instilled by her grandfather Falcon. She graduated from Acupuncture and Massage College 2013 where she studied Oriental Medicine.  As a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician/Herbalist, with a Master in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor of Health Science and a Diplómate of Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM , she founded Gretel Acupuncture and has dedicated her life to the health and wellbeing of her patients. She has had the opportunities to work with renowned professionals in the field and is grateful for her first mentor Dr. Marcelo Lam. Currently, Dr. Gretel opened her new location in the heart of Miami, offering services of Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, therapeutic massages and more.
